Can Catalist tell me if I may already own a record?
Catalist can surface a potential existing-catalog match during supported lookup. Because records can differ by pressing or edition, compare the returned release information with your saved copy details before deciding whether it is the same item.
Can I catalog records without barcodes?
Yes. Add them manually and keep the artist, title, format, condition, photos, notes, purchase information, value, links, categories, and custom details you want to preserve.
Can I keep multiple copies of the same album?

Does Catalist identify the exact pressing automatically?
Not always. Supported lookup can provide available release candidates and metadata, but coverage and precision vary. Review the result and use the details you save about your own copy when pressing-level differences matter.
Does Catalist automatically price my vinyl?
No. Catalist lets you record a value for your own reference. It does not currently provide automatic appraisal or live vinyl market pricing.
Is Catalist a record marketplace?
No. Catalist is a private personal catalog, not a marketplace for buying or selling records.
